Use systems thinking approach (Bloom's Taxonomy method) when researching the interrelationship between environmental systems at all levels and scales of invasive species, nitrogen cycle, ground water resources, and coal bed methane and shale gas production. 
Research papers on public health issues and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, Dead Zone in Gulf of Mexico, invasive species due to globalization, and what epidemiology has played within these areas. 
Examine how elements such as pollution and pesticides within systems change over time, generating patterns, trends, cause and effect relationships, jeopardize ecological integrity, and influence public health issues.
